CHAPTER 1: SEE THE LIGHT

“This place is even worse at night” Light Spike thought, while strolling through the empty marketplace.
It was almost midnight in Calderock Village, once a beacon for travellers of all sorts. Being “The Gateway to Saint Haven, the Holy City”, Calderock used to be a town for people to prepare, gear up and get ready to journey to the flying city, where all your dreams would come true. At least, that’s what they said.
Nowadays, Calderock has succumbed to a dirty, degenerated place in which corruption and filth lingered around every corner.
“Hey sweety, you look like you are in need of some company tonight”, a busty Kali said as she approached him from the shadows. “How about it? It’s quite costly but I’ll make it worth your every gold coin", she claimed alluringly.
“Sorry, not interested”, Light said, putting her off without even glancing at the Dancer once.
He pulled down his fedora in disgust and hurried to his destination. (...)
